Proxima is a Training Centre that offers businesses, training colleges, local public administrations and residents the facilities, equipment and know-how required to promote the culture, languages and job opportunities made available by using the Internet and the latest Information Technologies.

Proxima offers the following services:

• Training rooms
  Businesses and training centres can use Proxima's facilities for on- and off-line training purposes. The rooms are equipped with computer workstations, overhead projector, flip chart and video projector.
• Reception
  Proxima's reception desk welcomes course lecturers and students from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm, Mondays to Fridays. This service can be customized as required.
• Technological equipment
  The Proxima Centre has 45 multimedia workstations linked in broadband in a local network and to the Internet. Each workstation has a standard package of on-line services but customized services can also be provided. On request, clients can use the teleconferencing service available in the appropriate, 60-seat room.
  Our professional staff runs a qualified help desk for clients.

Proxima was set up in 1998 as a pilot project for Telework, Teleservices and Teletraining. The speed of change in the new technology sector, however, has altered the centre's vocation, now focused more especially on providing training in the new technologies.
