Milano Metropoli Development Agency and the BIC La Fucina Business Innovation Centre offer aspiring entrepreneurs, free-lance professionals and newly formed companies setting up shop in the incubators a qualified consultancy network to help them overcome the critical stages typical of new business start ups. 

  • Basic services: reception, telephones and fax machines, Internet connections, security, general building management, photocopier, automatic mail sorting, round-the-clock building access, use of meeting and conference rooms.
  • Consultancy services: when new firms move in, BIC La Fucina gives them a preliminary technical assessment. Every six months, their businesses are then re-appraised, to help them monitor their performance both qualitatively and quantitatively.  The firms are also entitled to use all BIC's other services.
  • Networks and opportunities: BIC La Fucina and Milano Metropoli keep the incubator occupants constantly up to date about opportunites for their development (projects, competitions/tenders, financing, etc.) and they include them in a dynamic context, full of opportunities for networking to facilitate new business partnerships.
  • Technological services: Milano Metropoli puts experts and cutting-edge technical equipment at the disposal of everyone in the incubator, whatever their needs may be.
  • Technological infrastructure: safe, reliable and rugged, the technological infrastructure of the incubator is managed by Milano Metropoli Development Agency in cooperation with our technological partner  that guarantees non-stop, flexible servicing, enabling the network to be adapted to the users' specific requirements quickly and efficiently.

LIB is housed in what used to be the Breda-Cimimontubi factory canteen, then converted under the Framework Agreement for the Re-industrialization of Sesto San Giovanni's brownfield sites, signed in 1996 by Milano Metropoli (formerly ASNM), Sesto San Giovanni town council, Province of Milan, Lombardy Region.

In addition, the building currently houses the headquarters of Milano Metropoli, BIC La Fucina and Proxima Centre.
