One of the key success factors in the North Milan re-industrialization process, coordinated by our Agency, has been the major role given to SMEs. Small and medium-sized enterprises and artisan firms have taken over the places abandoned by heavy industry and have become active players in re-launching the economic and social life of the area. They have generated new jobs and innovation, promoting schemes for improving urban quality.
