Getting things right first time, for example foresee since the planning stage of a handmade or an infrastructure which will be its future when its primary role will be consumed, rather than making up for mistakes later, with the consequent environmental and economic damages.
This is the meaning of Cradle to Cradle Network, the initiative aimed by the European Commission funding the project INTERREGG IVC CRADLE TO CRADLE NETWORK: a network of 10 partners from 10 countries - over Italia represented by Milano Metropoli Development Agency there are Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Netherland, Romania, Slovenia - which aim is to capitalize best practices about four areas: governance, industry, area-specific spatial development and building design.
Milano Metropoli Development Agency, particularly, proposes to create a Lombardy network (enterprises, public authorities, universities and research centres) interested to exchange best European practices, develop actions pilot and contribute to define an action plan in line with the approach of Cradle to cradle and help to orient the local and regional public strategies toward the sustainability and the echo-compatible innovation.
