Great success for the first edition of the competition entitled Bando "Expo dei Territori: Verso il 2015" closed the last 27th april in Milan with the prize-giving of 42 projects maked by 170 organizations, and their many partners (524). 8, instead, the project worthy of mention for their innovation.

"The competition's results, with the extraordinary attendance and the value of the projects maked - said Filippo Penati, president of the Province of Milan - show the image of a territory rich of ideas, schemes and energies ready to transform the Expo of 2015 in an opportunity of growth for all. So we are encouraged to go on with our commitment and work to make the Expo the Exposition of all the milanese citizens. The success of this initiative shows that we can do it, joining responsibly the abilities and the duties toward a common goal".

South West, Magentino and Abbiatense, North West, Alto Milanese, North Milan, South East, Adda Martesana, Monza and Brianza, Milan have maked their more interesting projects about three themes: Energy and the environment; Food and agriculture; Culture, hospitality and tourism.

Now the projects chosen will be introduced to the company which manages the Expo. They could also receive help in searching for new partners and/or funds via a tutoring scheme developed by Milano Metropoli Development Agency.
