TEATRO DEGLI ARCIMBOLDI PDF Print E-mail

Built by the Municipality of Milan in partnership with Pirelli RE, and designed by Studio Gregotti Associati International, the Teatro degli Arcimboldi is a unique auditorium in Milan in terms of its construction, acoustic and visual criteria.

It has seating capacity for an audience of approximately 2,400 people, distributed over split-level stalls and a dress and upper circle.

For three seasons, starting from 19 January 2002, the Arcimboldi theatre hosted the productions staged by La Scala while Piermarini’s famous opera house underwent major restoration and extension work.

The Arcimboldi theatre is located in the Bicocca district, to the north of the city and is well served by public transport.
